The STEM Research Poster Session on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, from 9:00 – 11:30 AM is an opportunity for researchers, project directors, district administrators, and graduate students to share STEM-related research with fellow STEM professionals. Applications will continue to be accepted until all spaces are filled.
Here’s the Idea: You have conducted STEM-related research, completed a STEM action research project, or defended a STEM-related dissertation that you would like to share with interested conference attendees. But, you’re not interested in doing a full conference presentation. The STEM Research Poster Session is your chance to casually share your research at STEMATHON. Instead of presenting during a scheduled session, you will set up a tabletop display that includes a trifold (like at a science fair) or similar poster and some materials or visuals to make your table display inviting. Conference attendees will visit poster displays that are set-up throughout the conference center and visit with researchers. It’s a great way to get the word out about your STEM-related research! Even better, once your idea is accepted, you’ll receive a special discount code for $25 off the cost of your registration.
The Fine Print: You need to submit the application form and your idea needs to be accepted. You’ll receive an email to let you know either way. The earlier you apply, the better your chances are at acceptance. Although, quality will be the top priority! Once accepted, you’ll need to register for STEMATHON and use the discount code.
